Can I take the course without the assessment?

Due to the nature of the course you will be required to have the assessment so that you can be placed in a group that matches closest to your speaking level. This enables the instructor to provide equal time to students if their level of speaking is similar and for participants to connect with other students who may have similar challenges.

My English is at a beginner level, can I still take this class?

We find this course works best with speakers who are upper-intermediate to beginner-advanced level in their speaking. We encourage beginners to continue learning the foundation of the English language before enlisting in our courses.

How many students are in the course?

There will be a maximum of six students per instructor. For semi-private groups (groups of friends, families, or relatives) there is a minimum of four students and a maximum of six students per instructor.

What is the cost for the six week course?

Open group intake (6 people max.) $90/person ($15/session per person)

Semi-private lessons (4 to 6 people) $150/person plus $15 assessment fee/person($25/session per person)

Private lessons $180 plus $15 assessment fee ($30/session for the 6 week period)

Why do we have to pay for the assessment if we take private lessons?

As an individual, the course will be tailored to the key areas that are problematic for you so it will be a course designed specifically for your needs. As a private group, members of your group may be at different levels so the course will be designed to the requirements of the individuals within your group along with the requirements of the group as a whole.
